Actually they are all links. The only names I saw on them are Opteka and Digital Optics.

well both seem to have crappy reviews. i guess i should just save up and buy a real camera.

I could have told you that in the beginning, but it's always better to find out yourself so you don't think you are wasting money. And you'll have more condifence in your equipment this way.

i've been told to invest in a nikon d70 so maybe that'll be my next step.

I have a D70 and am frustrated with the limitations of a 6 megapixel camera. I'm seriously thinking of selling it and getting the D200. My recommendation would be to spend the $700 more and get the D200.
