Anyone else have trouble with the shade for the 14-45 zoom? When I put it on by aliging the arrow on the shade and the one on the lens, it vignettes at the widest setting. If I turn it "upside-down," with "China" on top, it does better, but if the cutouts in the shade aren't aligned exactly right I still sometimes lose a corner of the frame.

Not an olympus user, but does it vignette in the viewfinder or does it vignette in the actual file the camera captures?
If it's in the file, I'd contact Olympus customer service.
The cutouts on the shade should line up with the corners of the frame because that's where vignetting occurs. Vignetting by a lens shade isn't uncommon at wide angles, but proper mounting can at least minimize it.
Vignetting shouldn't occur at all if the shade is designed properly and is attached to the lens correctly and there is no filter mounted.
A follow-up to my inquiry: I did contact customer service, exchanging several emails with a very helpful representative who finally, based on how the printing on the shade and on the camera were lining up, told me just to twist the shade a little harder - and it snapped into place perfectly!
My only excuse is that I grew up very much in the "if it doesn't go easily, don't force it" school of handling equipment. (And that the shade for the long zoom, where the shade orientation doesn't matter anyway, doesn't take nearly as hard a twist.)
