I thought I'd pass along a "by-the-way" that I have come to really rely upon, and that is a lens cap caddy, for lack of a better word. It's a small plastic dot with some stickum on one side to stick itself to the lens cover, and an elastic band to go around the lens body. The two are connected by a short black string, and it's very hard to lose the lenscap unless you work at it. After running over two lens covers with the lawn mower on two separate occasions I bought one of these little wonders, and it has made a tremendous difference in my poise and peace of mind. NO MORE LOST LENS CAPS!!!
