LaCie LCD monitor concerns

LaCie has discontinued their PhotonVision LCD monitors. Their 100 Series (109 and 110), introduced just weeks ago, "is currently on hold due to legal technicalities" according to the LaCie sales department.
Their 300 Series (319 and 321) are still available.

I'm looking to buy an LCD monitor soon, but am seriously considering to take LaCie off of my short list.

What would your list look like in that instance? I've heard good things about some of the apples, but are there any other manufacturers that you would consider?

Bill,

My list of requirements for an LCD monitor are as follows:
- size 19 or 21"
- brightness 200 cd/m^2
- backlighting dimmable so brightness is 80-120 cd/m^2
- contrast ratio 500, preferable 600
- gamma correction 10 bit
- gamma range 1.8-2.2
- viewing angle 170 degrees both horizontal and vertical
- color temperature: 5000K a must, 6500K a want
- R, G and B controls
- color gamut at least 69% of Adobe RGB (1998)
- pixel out spec per ISO13406 Class II
- calibrator preferable dedicated
I have only found 3 NEC models and 2 LaCie models that meet all of these requirements. Since LaCie is probably out for me this leaves me with the following NEC models:
LCD1980FXi, LCD1980SXi and LCD2180UX.
The Apple Cinema displays have a color temperature of about 6500K set from the factory and they can only be tweaked to about 6000K in calibration. None of the other brands that I have looked at, and I have looked at many, meet my list of requirements.
