Oh, yeah, definitely a scam, long-running and well documented. There is a kind of "sister" scam run by the same outfit, "International Library of Poetry". Both are basically vanity publishers, and both operate by stroking egos. You enter a "contest" and, no matter what you submit, you "win" the right to be published in their next book. The catch: You pay a bunch of money to buy a copy of the book, otherwise you're not in it. Stay away.....

Thanks Bill. That's kinda what I though. First time I tried it was in 1996 but didn't buy the book. Been around so long I tried it again but not getting a book. Did wonders for my ego tho. I often wonder how my stuff stacks up to other stuff.

I had a photo in "Talking Pictures" when it first started and boy was I pumped. Went out and bought 15 copies and gave them all away. Then went out and bought 10 more. Now I have one!
