Inkjet Papaers

I have been using an HP 8700 Inkjet Printer. I am looking for suggestions, or information on purchase and use of high quality papers

Hi -

The 8700 and other printers that use dye inks need papers with a swellable surface. The HP papers are the best choice for this model, but other papers like Ilford Classic (not the Smooth), Kodak Pro, and Canon papers will also work but you'll want to use custom profiles - usually available from the paper manufacturer.

There are many different paper companies out there that are high quality. Hahnemuhle, PremierArt, check out inkjetart.com, they carry tons of paper and they also can make custom profiles for most any paper/ink/printer combination and are friendly to work with.
