Here's a question that's only peripherally to photography, which is why it's posted here and not under "Inkjet Printing":
Since both of my Epson printers are now dedicated to photo work (I recently converted my 1280 to all-BW), I decided to buy a "cheap" printer to handle routine office work. I settleld on the Lexmark Z615, a surprisingly good little printer that was on sale at Staples for about $35. When I went back to Staples for a replacement black ink cartridge, I ended up with a two-pack which (you guessed it) cost more than the printer. Imagine my surprise.
I've done a Google search for alternative in sources, but there's no way to determine there what's good and what ain't.
Does anyone out there have any ideas or solutions that work, or do I need to find a forum for disgruntled ink consumers?
Thanks,
Bill
