I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer images (scanned jpegs) from a computer to a USB card without having to get the pictures onto a digital device i.e. a camera etc.???
They are to be used with one of the viewable picture frames that accept USB cards and provide a slide show of the images. thank you for any information you can provide, Tim

Sure,
You can just Copy/Paste the images into the card, or use
Drag/Drop. Just be sure to size the images to the specs that are recommended for your viewing device.
It's just like any of the USB flash devices in that your computer should recognize the card as a drive.
I would guess that your viewing device should have some instructions on how to do this.
If you are going to use the card in your camera afterwards, you will have to reformat the card in your camera.
