So i've been shooting film for about 4 years and loved it, but i decided its time to go digital. now i have a nikkormat ft with a 90-230, 55, and 28mm lenses, a canon rebel 2k with a 28-90 AF lense. and various flashes and filters for both, obviously i know my way around cameras. I just bought a fujifilm finepix s2000hd because my parents & family members are buying me a DSLR outfit when i graduate, granted thats in a year and a half, i wanted a good digital for now. the s2000hd is a 10.2mp megazoom bridge camera. 15x zoom and some other great stuff, anyone else have this camera? how does it hold up for day to day use, batt. life any good? etc, just stuff like that. if anybody has this camera or knows alot about any info is welcome. I ordered it off amazon and it should get here some time next week. well thanks for any info and i guess thats all folks

I'm afraid I won't be much help with your new camera, but I'd just like to throw in my 2 cents. Just because you're getting anew camera doesn't mean you can't use your film equipment. I recently got my first digital after 50 years of film and I still use both. They produce different results as you will soon see. I often still prefer film for its different characteristics and different lens choices.
