There is an faq section that tells you how to do that. However, sometimes it doesn't work, even if you follow the instructions to the letter. I have had an intense exchange of emails with the Shutterbug support folks and never got it to work. It also depends on what forum you are working in; some have the appropriate code enabled and some don't; don't ask me why.

Well I have tried every thing I can think of to login to the photo section to submit my photos for the contest. This kinda sucks too. How can I have a chance of winning if I can't post my work? Really, what good is having the contest in the first place!

Hopefully a Moderator will see this and answer back before the contest is over.

I figuered it out.

I can't upload photos either. Tried several times with both Firefox 2.0 and Internet Explorer 7. I looked through the FAQ and can't find anything referring to uploading photos. What did you do to fix the problem?

To be honest.. I didn't do a thing all of a sudden it just started to work. I don't know how or why.

I also am getting very frustrated. Is this really a closed site and we just don't know it?
I hope not.

How did you figure it out. Or were you just lucky when someone said that it works and doesn't?

I just sent an email to the webmaster asking for help. If they get back to me with a solution I'll post the answer here.

When you go to the Galleries site and sign in you should see an upload photos line on the upper right. Just click on it and choose the album (such as the contest.) If you don't perhaps go to the Gallery area first and then sign in. That should allow you to upload. If you still have a problem with this let me know.

Alternately, you can click on Photos in the Forums area (see upper right)and that will bring you into the Galleries.

I know how to get into the area where you do the upload. I select the gallery and photo I want to upload and hit the upload button and it acts like there was no file selected. There is a page that flashes for a split second, then it says "No more images selected", and nothing ends up in the gallery. I have tried both the contest gallery and my personal member gallery.

This issue has been resolved with the aid of a very helpful technical support person from the web site. It seems that there is a file size limitation even though it says there is not. I resized the photo down to 1024x768 and it uploaded with no problem.
