Top of my wish list is a high end point and shoot pocket size camera from Nikon. Something similar to the Sigma DP1.
Features I would want is a 12 to 16 megapixel sensor and a fixed 24mm to 28mm lens, or small ratio zoom like 24-85mm. I would also want a hot shoe that supports Nikon's iTTL flash system. This for me would be the perfect digital camera. Formally I carried the CoolPix 5000 (28mm) everywhere and have moved up to the CoolPix 8400 with it's 24mm lens. Though I use the D200 for studio type work I'm never going to carry a DSLR kit again but still want the highest quality images I can get.
I hope Nikon and Canon pay attention to the needs of professional photographers that that small Sigma will fill if it ever reaches production status.
Any comments?
