i need help, i just got a camera and i need a little help with wat i sould do, like what to take photos of, its a fujica, never herd of them but it was ten bucks and it camewith a bunch of stuff, its a awesome little camera, im new to the forums and want a little help gettin aquainted with cameras
Kodak's book, "Joy of Photography" is a good place to start. The many editions have been updated over the years and should be at the local library.
Ronk's is an excellent suggestion, but let me also recommend photo magazines like Shutterbug. The most valuable thing I get from any of those mags is ideas for new ways to do things.
Incidentally, nothing can take the place of experience. Take your new camera and take a bunch of pictures. Just doing it and looking at the result will teach you an enormous amount about photography.
well thnaks for the help, ill look into both of those books/mags and cant wait to take more pictures
well actually it turns out i got nikon nicormat or w/e its a awesome cammera shot a couple rolls today
Glad you're having fun with it. That's how almost all of us got hooked...
If you can find them, say on eBay or other such sites, or in used book stores, may I suggest the Time-Life Photography series of books. I found them to be extremely helpful to me when I first started shooting years ago, and really miss having them around/reget parting with them!
