I have a Minolta XGM body with professional lenses of Vivitar and Tamron which I used and enjoyed very much more then thrity years. The body has been broken.
I would like to know if my lenses can suit any digital camera??
Thanks

The short answer is no because there is no electronics in the lenses for the body to control the aperture. The top of the line Nikon or Canon bodies can work with manual lenses, but the cost of a high end body is much more expensive than you can purchase a few new lenses for.
Another issue is that you'll probably find that even the lower priced lens line from Nikon or Canon will be better lenses than the design of third party lenses from thirty years ago.
