Hello from a newbie and D80 user...

Greetings everybody! I just found this site while Googling my way through the web. I'm a D80 / 18-135mm shooter with a few other toys. I hope to pick up some tips and maybe contribute one or two in here.

I'm a newbie with a D80 myself. I found this site because I recently subscribed to Shutterbug. I'm looking to get back into mainstream photograpghy after about 10 years of neglect. Any comments and help from anyone will be appreciated

Well, I hope that you are shooting in manual mode. Although, if you don't have time to fiddle with the settings, auto is great. But if you can take a little less than a minute, then manual is what you need. From there you are the boss, your lens and camera works for you and you don't work for it. A D80 is a great camera, and is relatively cheap, so I hope you are enjoying it. What do you want to know or find out here, though?
