I'd like to hear from anyone who owns, has tried or at least seen Hasselblad's new digital back for the 500 series cameras. Is it worth the $10K price?
I suggest you mean V96C
I've tested the imacon 132C version
in breef: if you accept to walk around with the file attached imagebank, no problem
working with it is like a film back, set ISO and of you go
forget your lightmeter and check the back's info beep on exposure or histogram
Do not move your camera from landscape to portrait while recording it gives you half a picture ...
coming home, attach it to your computer and notice that it is NOT recognised other than by imacon's software
you have to transfer all your images by firewire to your computer ... and it takes minutes per file ...(coffee???)
you have to white ballance all your files by reference etc
count several hours per job
I did a shoot for one day, came home with 150 pictures, selected 60 of them and spend another 6 hours with flexcolor, who is going to pay this???
from my opinion, I liked the phase one P25 and its software much better !!!
