I know the rule-of-thumb that says the slowest hand-held shutter speed should be the reciprocal of the focal length.
However, is this an angle-of-view phenomenon? That is, when using a Canon EOS-20D (having a 1.6 angle-of-view factor) with a 300mm lens, should the slowest h-h speed be 1/300s? Or should the slowest h-h speed take the aov factor into consideration and be 1/480s?
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Roger
