Please correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't a
'full-frame' sensor be 6cm x 6cm, or 2 1/4x 2 1/4 inch ?
I believe the H3d-39 sensor is 6cm x 4.5 cm.

The H series cameras are 645 not 6x6. When shooting film, they get 16 exposures on 120 and 32 exposures per roll of 220. 6x6 cameras get 12 and 24 exposures respectively.

drooling, and wishing I won the lottery, but
something seemed to be wrong with the specs.
Thanks for clearing it up for me. I laugh at the
incessant rants re 35mm cameras with and without
'full-frame' sensors, ha ! If it fills the format
that you are using, (c-aps), it IS full-frame!

Unfortunately, camera companies have been slow to provide fast wide angle lenses for cameras with cropping factors. It is difficult enough to build retrofocus wide angles for SLRs due to the depth of the mirror boxes when the image size is full frame, but extremely difficult when there is a 1.5x cropping factor. Shift-lenses have not even been attempted.

Perhaps all the money is in phallic-substitute long zooms. :-)
