I am teaching an Introduction to Digital Media course this semester and am wondering if there is there a digital camera that you would consider a good introductory student camera? Ideally, it would be quite affordable, perhaps in the $150-$200 range, and allow manual control of exposure, white balance, and, if one should be so lucky, focus. If not, what's the next best thing?
