My Hoya R72 filter arrived today, and I'm quite anxious to start taking infrared photos. My camera is the Minolta Dimage 7 which I mentioned in a previous post.
The good thing about the Dimage 7, is that you can see what you're taking through the lcd or EVF. This is not the norm for most IR capable cameras.
So, tomorrow, I'll take my very first step toward the IR invisible world....
BUT, I suspect that in order to produce exceptional IR photos, that the
image editing program one uses would be paramount to total success.
SO, the image editing program that I will be using on my Apple computer will be "Photoshop Elements 3"..... Yes, I know most of us only hear about the Professional Photoshop CS, but that's one learning curve that I will not attempt.
Thus, I am about to embark onto an unsteady journy of which, at my late age, is actually rather exciting....
Has anyone in this forum tried IR with Photoshop Elements 3?..
Thanks....
