I was perusing Luminous Landscape and I happened upon this article...
I can't believe I didn't notice it before...
If I didn't tell you it was written in 2002 you'd probably think it was written last week...
its amazing how long this debate has been going on
funny how while everyone is arguing about it...the cameras just keep rolling out, better and cheaper than before...give it a few years and nobody will ever even remember there was a debate about such things
points of interest
1. he predicted the F6!!?? who saw THAT coming
2. predicted a FF Nikon at PMA 2003...I think the words he used were "bank on it"
3. predicted the death of 4/3.. somthing I would have agreed with him on....but it seems it still has a lot of life in it
4. predicted 2 divergent lines of Nikon DLSR's... thank GOD they didn't go the Canon route with their 3 different frame sizes!! I can't believe he thought this was a GOOD thing..
anyway...interesting reading...no matter where you stand on the issues..
