I ordered 2 filters from Filterhouse 3/21/2008, received a email confirmation and a charge appears on my credit card but no filters have arrived here. The UPS tracking number indicates my order arrived in Germantown, WI but I live on the East Coast. When I clicked reply to send an inquiry to the orderprocessing address, my message bounced. Then I emailed the company 3 times and called twice, no answer/ no response - yesterday I asked to cancel my order, still no response. I have never had a problem like this with B&H, Adorama, Abes, Amazon.com, KEH, Le Camera, Hunt, nor Koh's.
Have you contacted UPS? I had a similar problem with an order and UPS was able to confirm the error and I got the product delivered to me. I would suggest calling UPS 800 number.
David, I called again later and the employee who answered stated that while she was on vacation (the explains the lack of communication) my order was accidently shipped (by someone else), to a curious unintended recipient in Wisconsin who unpacked the filters... Filterhouse is still waiting for their return so I requested a cancellation. Thank you, I will call UPS the next time.
This company acknowledged on 4/2/08 the error of having shipped my order to someone else on 3/22/08; while on the phone, I asked to cancel the order on 4/2/08 but as of yesterday the $119. charge was still on my credit card.
NEVER buy from a company without checking www.resellerratings.com. Filterhouse gets a rating of 2 out of 10. Four out of the five only comments say "very dissatisfied".
Have you called your credit card company to cancel the charges?
I emailed my credit card company on 4/19/08 and they replied that the charge will be disputed. Today is 4/22 and still no refund which is much too slow - Usually a credit appears on my online statement within 4-5 days.
