Lots of good suggestions, how about:

Polaroid. the first model 95, and the SX-70. Amazing at the time, and fabulous design

Nikonos, and its Cousteau designed predecessor, Calypso. Underwater photography transformed

Minox, predecessor of so many small wonders

My first SLR, a black body, meterless Pentax
