Just (yesterday) picked up a mint F80 body on eBay! I'm jazzed about it, ..can't wait to get it! I'm going to pair it (initially) with a Nikkor 28-105mm.
Any other F80 owners/users here?

Looks like a sweet little camera, though I'm unfamiliar with it. Congrats on your purchase! Here's a very cool illustrated spec sheet to keep you drooling while you wait for it to arrive!

T.y. Chip!
Yeah, I thought so as well. Was looking at F5's and F100's but right now they are out of my budget; then I found this: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/nikon/htmls/models/htmls/slry2k.htm
...where it was said that the F80 was a scaled down version of the F100, so I started looking and watching on eBay. Wish I could have found the 'S' model though. Maybe I can find that particular back on eBay as well.
Edit: The thing that confuses me though, is that I see F90x's (N90s) going for around $250.00. The F80 is a newer and supposedly better camera, and I paid around $100. less than that for my F80.
Sad, the F/N80 is only bringing $150.00. The N90 was a pro-sumer level camera and the N80 was a top of the consumer level, thus accounting for the price differential. I think the N90 has a metal frame.
The 28-105 is a great lens for just knocking around, with the bonus of a very nice macro feature.
My sweet little N80 is on hiatus; the D100 has supplanted it in my affections, though I just pulled it out, replaced the batteries, and am going to shoot a few rolls, ...........soon. Yes, thats it, soon.
