David's blogs are quite good as a teaching tool. I thought the one on how we need to update our calibration gear at times to accomodate changes in the display industry was great.
I read his discussion of Ezio's Flexscan model S2243W and since I just ordered a new Mac Intel-based desktop, need a good computer display. The Ezio and the NEC (he also wrote about their new Multisync unit) about seem ideal for my needs. In his blog in February he mentioned that he has not seen any dealer offering the new Ezio unit. Have any of you on his forum seen any sign of US sales. The Brits have them but they don't seem to be available here. I'd like to buy one but if there is no definite date for US release, I may have to buy the NEC Multisync (looks like a great unit too). Buying a display is difficult if you don't live in the three or four cities where you can see a variety of pro-photo quality displays, so you do your research, talk with others who have used this unit, read reviews and listen to David, whose advice I've always found grounded on facts rather than opinion.
If anyone on this forum has an idea when the Ezio new display will be available I'd like to know.
This is my first topic on the forum and hope it's not too long. Phil
