Can anyone share any experiences with photo restoration software? I'm considering the AKVIS Retoucher product. One needs to mark over all the areas of a photo (scanned print) needing retouching, so a good deal of the work of just using Photoshop remains. However, it may still save quite a bit of time, at least for tricky areas. This leads to another question: how well does it handle tricky areas? Does anyone know of alternatives? Thanks.

I normally use Paint Shop Pro X for most of my retouching and rarely P/S CS. Most of what I see in the examples shown in their web site are easily handled by PSP's Scratch Remover, Clone Tool, or Makeover Tool.
