Proofing On-Site With The Epson P-2000 Page 2

Other Image-Viewing Technologies On The Market
iPod photo: Although we did not have the opportunity to test drive one, the iPod photo offers similar features, but in a much smaller package. Described as "the size of a deck of playing cards," it weighs 6 oz, and is available in both a 40GB and 60GB model--$499 and $599 respectively. Its LCD sports only a fraction of the colors and offers considerably less resolution than the Epson. However, unlike the P-2000 it allows users to listen up to 15 hours of continuous music. The iPod photo has no card slots, but you can import your photos from the iPhoto (Mac) or Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 (PC) using FireWire or USB 2.0. iTunes 4.7.1 will automatically synchronize your photos--and you can display the finished products to your friends and clients via a television or projector.
