Be gentle with me, it's my first post here....
I have an Epson C86 and iMac running OS X 10.4.7 (latest). I have installed the latest drivers and am trying to print some photos from the iPhoto application.
Caucasian skin tones come out with a red/blue tinge to them. Other colors on the prints seem affected too, but it is the skin tones that are most noticeable.
I'm using genuine Epson Ink and Paper. The printer self tests indicate that there are no problems with the print head. There is plenty of ink in each cartridge.
The photos appear identical (in terms of color) on my screen and on the Sony DSC camera's lcd display and don't have this tinge to them.
I've concluded it must be a problem with the color profile being used. I've tried to use ColorSync to ensure that the manufacturer's standard is being used but this doesn't seem to have had any effect. I've tried lots of different paper types too.
I get the same problem with QuickTime.
Can anyone suggest anything please?
