Richard,
Why didn't you ask first? Why do you think you should have free advertising? If you can't spend a little for advertising that supports this site and the service it provides the readers, why should the readers even consider supporting your commercial venture?
If you don't know any better, that it isn't OK to steal, then I can't imagine you have much of value to sell Shutterbug readers should want.
I have deleted this post as it was a solicitation, and we do not allow that on this Forum. If the person who posted this wants to add to the information on this site Forum that is fine, but we do not allow advertisements per se on the Forum.
Appologies, George. I did not see anything that prevented such postings, and, as it used to say, it was a one time thing. Are there forum rules listed anywhere? I'd be glad to abide by them.
David, thanks for the welcome. The intent was hardly to "steal". If there is a product that no one knows about that is useful and new, telling someone is not meant as harm or "stealing". I understand that advertising can get out of hand, but if I had come into the forum posing as another user, using another name, my posting would have been OK. Instead, I get penalized and degraded for being honest. It is a fault that I didn't check first, but again I saw no posting rules that prevented such a posting.
