You know about the time you think your up the digital game it already two steps ahead of you. Deciding to buy a new digital is like tring to catch a fast horse. I decided on the D200 which I am getting this week and Nikon is coming out with the D80. I will guess by next month a new one from Canon or another company will be presented. Here is what I am coming to. Just pick the camera to best suit your needs. All the reasons I picked film camera do not apply to digital. I must say if nothing else we are all easy intertained. Monte.
Monte, it's an immutable law of electronics. Anything high tech that you buy will be obsolete by the time you open the box.......
Might not make a difference for you, but the D80 doesn't use compact flash cards so it would require someone like me to spend an extra few hundred dollars on memory. The D80 is priced to compete with the new Sony 10 megapixel camera.
Larry i have already made up my mind the D200 is on its way. Bill I have to agree with you there. Monte.
Yep. All you can do is grin and bear it. otherwise, you'll spend your entire life saying, "Maybe if I wait just one more week, I'll have the most up-to-date piece of equipment possible!", and you end up going nowhere.
