I find this hard to admit, but using digital with my film has taught me more about exsposure then before I had that advandage. When I first shot film as many of you know it can be a trying experience. i wanted to learn on a manual camera and I am not sorry I did. At times though it was hard to see where my exposures were off until I started to scan film and learn some of the tools PS offered. I begin to see the true range Were a good negative begin and where it ended. Now I still believe film is king in resolution, shadow detail and all around best for larger prints, But digital is a nice tool to have to explore the creative part of the film. Cloneing, sharpening tool, contrast, back lighting adjustment, are just a few tools that allow you to explore the limits. The key is always good composition, but I know it is not a perfect thing, So I have to admit PS and digital makes a nice companion with film. Monte Johnson.

Monte,
Get rid of that digital thing NOW!
or before you know it, it will take over and you will never use film again.

Ronk,
I saying that will not happen. I am a film person, just like the digital tools.
