I am new to this forum so pardon me if I am plowing old ground here but I am in the market for a new digital slr but I need one with a short lag time on the shutter since I will be taking pictures of show dogs and need something that will capture the same view that I am looking at in my view finder. In researching I find that most manufacturers omit these specifications. Anyway I am looking for sugestions from this forum.
Thanks

Most if not all have virtually no lag time. It's digital point and shoot cameras that still suffer from this. The only lag might be in processing long bursts of images or when you are using high noise reduction. Other than that you are home free.
