Mr Schaub
Referencing your review of the Epson PowerLite 1715c projector in the April issue, no mention was made to its lens or image size at any given distance. I do want to purchase a digital projector but have no clue how to calculate image size vs. screen distance. My old Carousel used a 150mm lens which was perfect for a throw distance of 22 feet for a maximum image height/width of about 5 feet, which I wish to maintain with a new digital projector. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Sorry about not including those specs. The Epson site has all that info. Start with this page:

22 feet from the screen and your image was only 5 foot horizontally or vertically. Sounds like you were using the wrong lens for the projector, or a special purpose lens. I doubt that you'll find a digital projector with that long a focal length in it's built in zoom.
