first post here, so thanks in advance. i'm a semi-pro photographer working with a Canon 5D, multiple "L" Series lenses, an Eizo CE240W hooked up to a dual 3.0 quad-core G5, printing with an Epson 3800 using various epson papers. My question:
Does anyone know a good printing book that would help me (that is up to date) get a good monitor to print color match? I spent a little bit of extra money on a good monitor, have spent considerable time adjusting color settings in photoshop and print menus, and still I have prints that aren't accurate to what I see on my monitor.
I bought this eizo to avoid this, but have had nothing but lackluster prints. I've heard good things about Fraser's 'Real World Color Management', but it was printed in 2004. So much has changed since then. There has to be a more recent publishing that is as reputable, right? Any suggestions, or links to workflow options on other websites, would be greatly appreciated.
