Digital phot how to book

I am new at photography. I like to photograph nature and a lot of it is in low light. Any suggestions on a basic book that would help? I would like to learn the manual way to use my digital camera.

Kodak's "Joy of Photography" is a good place to start. Also ant books by John Shaw.
