Digital newbie regarding RAW

After years of using my 645 Super, bought a D80. Have Elements 6, have only shot in Jpeg fine. Question is, can I shoot in Jpeg+Raw & use Elements to make Raw work. Thanks

You may need to update the Adobe Camera Raw in Elements by going to the download portion of the Adobe.com web site.
