What Do You Get The Photographer Who Has Everything?
...a case to keep it all in. OP/TECH USA's (www.optechusa.com) Accessory Pack is a full-access zippered case that protects and organizes all types of gear, including point-and-shoot digital cameras, auxiliary lenses, filters, cables, and batteries. Padded dividers with touch fasteners allow you to configure this handy little (8x5x2.5") pouch for whatever gear you're using at the time. Two clear inner pockets offer a great place to store manuals or media cards for easy access. You can store it inside another bag, briefcase, or carry it all by its lonesome with the included hand strap or detachable shoulder strap.

Cleanliness Is...
How do you change lenses in the field? Are you like my friend (name withheld to keep him that way) who left a Nikon D1X without a lens sitting upright and turned on during a wedding reception? The pictures that followed defined a new category of digital dirt. What do you do when you're shooting at the beach or in some other less than environmentally friendly incidents like hurricanes and tornadoes? Kinetronics (www.kinetronics.com) has developed what is essentially a portable clean room to keep your camera's sensor, well, clean.

Their Clean Air Bag (CAB) has a pump that draws air through a dual air filter system, which inflates the clear vinyl air chamber, turning it into a positive pressure clean room for use in the studio or in the field. This pressure keeps dust and dirt off the digital camera sensor when changing lenses. The CAB has a dual zipper front panel for camera and lens loading. You insert your hand in the sides when changing lenses. The air pump requires four "D" cells. For storage and transport, the Kinetronics CAB is packaged in a durable padded bag with grip.

The Quantum Qflash is a versatile piece of hardware, especially when you have to work in large spaces such as Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson shown here in this photograph of Mary Farace. The power and controllability of the Qflash make it possible to dial in the correct exposure. Image made with Canon EOS 20D and EF 28-105mm zoom lens. Exposure 1/30 sec at f/8 at ISO 400 using the Qflash as fill.
