Debating EOS 7N vs 7Ne

I'm getting back into film photography after experimenting with digital. For some reason, digital images look "flat" to me.

Anyway, I've settled on an EOS 7, but am wondering whether the eye-tracking auofocus is really worth upgrading to the 7Ne. I primarily do landscape/travel photography in case that factors into the discussion.

I used an Elan 2E for several years, then upgraded to an Elan 7. If I upgrade again, it will either be to a 7N, or to an EOS-3 (in fact, I am not certain I will buy another 35mm film camera, as most of my film is shot on medium format.)

I didn't miss the eye-control when I went to the 7, so I wouldn't recommend it as a "must have" -- especially if you are doing landscape/travel shooting, where you aren't trying to track a moving object and keep it in focus (which is where this type of feature really shines in my opinion.)

Hopefully you could also tell me the difference between the 7ne and the older 7e? I recently picked up a 7e to compliment my AE-1 and AE-1 program and am wondering about the difference between the older 7e and newer 7ne.
