De-Noise

Hello,

I am looking for a free, good, photoshop filter that will remove or reduce noise (from any file format) and possibly clean up overcompressed jpegs. Can anyone recommend one to me? I am not interested in demos. I would think there would have to be something decent out there that is free. I am running OSX with an old (ver 2) Photoshop Elements.

I would recommend simply upgrading Adobe Photoshop Elements to version 6.0, which you can order now from the Adobe web site. It has a quite sophisticated Reduce Noise filter almost as effective as the full version Photoshop CS3.
