I just got my D70s last Friday and decided just to play a bit and take pictures. Just putting it on auto and playing with it the sky or anything white comes out bright pink or a variety of colors. I can't figure out what to do to change it. It doesn't do this all of the time either. But every time I've taken it out since I get the same thing. Here are some pictures from that first time. Notice that some come out okay. http://www.schuhmacherranch.com/d70s/d70s.htm
This looks just too weird! I have a D70 and never got these kind of results, nor have I ever seen anybody else with this kind of problem with any camera. I have emailed with the Nikon support team in the past and they have been quite helpful. Suggest you contact them through the Support section of www.nikonusa.com. Hope this gets resolved real soon; these are not the kind of special effects one wishes to run into.
I just bought the same camera and have not have that problem. can i ask is it happening in all modes i.e auto, portrait? Did you change anthing around in tools etc...
just curious...I love mine and still learning how to use it.
Just got off the phone with my camera dealer. We sent it back to the distributor and come to find out there was a bad batch of them. Something is wrong with the CCD. I have a new one headed this way and should have it by the beginning of the week. I can't wait!
I loved the colors and might have kept the camera just for special effects. Remember the pictures from the CoolPix 990 a few years ago that had been submerged? That's what the color looked like.
