I've been using the D3 since it was released. It feels great, probably the best camera I've ever worked with. I just picked up the D700 as a replacement because I only use it on a tripod in the studio. I'm selling the D3 because it has too many features I'll never use and find the D700 lighter and more portable with the same image great quality. But I will miss the handling of the D3.

I find that intresting. I am absolutely stupid when it comes to working all those programs even in my D70. But even tho they confuse me to no end, I still manage to take a few decent photo's now and then. Please tell me why they put all that stuff in them? I haven't run into anyone that can use everything their camera has.I aslo have the SB 600 flash and I do like it but, I have a terrible time remembering the right way to push the buttons to get the commander mode on. I carry the instruction book with me and take a break to figure it out.
Equipment like the Pentax K1000 and the Nikon FG were really easy to work and took better photo's than I could.
