After raw processing Nikon D2x images with Capture or Bibble and saving them as tiffs, I can't pull up the image in Photoshop CS1 for final tweaks. I get an error message saying: could not complete your request because of a problem with the file format module interface.
Sometimes if I reboot or shut down/restart the pc, it will let me access the images, but not aways.
Any help appreciated.

Hi,
Are you saving in the Tiff's 16 bit or compressed? What color space are you using? Sometimes P/S has a problem opening Tiffs created in other programs--ran into this while beta testing Paint Shop Pro X a year ago--(this was solved). Adobe holds the copyright on TIFF and if it somehow varies a touch from their version, this problem can occur.
First, try to open thme back in Capture or Bibble and resave as uncompressed tiffs to see if that solves the problem.

Hi,
I just saved a 16 bit Adobe RGB Tiff image from Raw Shooter Essentials and had no problem opening it in CS.
