How can I place a copyright symbol on my photos along with my name? I am using Elements 6 on a Sony laptop. Thanks for any help.

After choosing and placing the text tool, hold the ALT key and hit the 0169 keys on the numerical (right side) of the keyboard. That will create the copyright symbol. I usually add the year and then my name.

The copyright symbol has nothing to do with your program. It's through the fonts on your computer and available in any program that can use text.
Copyright Symbol
Easiest way, besides what you've already been told, is to copy the copyright symbol and paste it into the text box in your image editing program.
