Computer software...

This may seem strange but here it goes. I want to take time lapse pictures of a large event...I want to use Pclix LT100. I only have a 2GB memory card which will be filled quickly. Is there any way to connect the camera to a laptop and have the pictures stored there instead of the camera's CF card? I own a Canon Digital Rebel XT with the standard lens.

Canon has connect software, but it may not work with your camera. But memory is cheaper than ever so you should also consider getting a few more memory cards.

I believe the remote function is supported by Canon software, all of which can be downloaded free. Go to the CanonUSA web site support section for your camera and the following URL will provide a list of direct action downloads: http://alpha02u.c-wss.com/inc/ApplServlet?SV=WWUCA900
