First of all, my new E-510 is working beautifully as is the kit lens that came with it, but I am not sure about Olympus America. The newsletter promised immediately when I registered the camera has not turned up. When I tried to pay for the Studio software a message said that it it could not be purchased until May 2007; however I notice that it is now July and the software's trial period is due to expire before long. I sent an email inquiring about both of these questions, but a promised answer is overdue. Also, I notice that the gallery section of the Olympus web site does not seem to be working. Are they OK up there?

Olympus has replied to my email. The webpage re the Studio software will become functional in the near future, and meanwhile one can order it by calling 800-201-7766.
The newsletter is published once a month and should appear in four to five weeks. (I gather that it may be in print format rather than email as first indicated. Olympus used to publish a very nice print newsletter back in their film days.)
