This may seem like an idiot question, but I purchased an N80 for my daughter for a photography class at college and just sent her a new zoom lens. She made a comment about not wanting to change the lens with film in the camera. It's been ages since I've messsed with one, but I sure seem to remember changing lenses with film in the camera wasn't a problem. And thanks for tolerating probably what seems like a really dumb question.

You're memory is correct. You can change lenses all day long as long as you don't have the shutter open as in Bulb or Time setting.
