I know it's not the lastest and greatest full frame DSLR, but it is a lot easier to carry around for the photo's during hunting/trapping/fishing that I do a LOT of here. Yes, I just picked one up, and so far I'm quite impressed!
Anyone else using one of these?

I love this camera also. I recently received this as a gift. I have been a dedicated film guy since the 60's.With Nikon for the last 20 years. This is my first digital camera and so far it has been great. I did some test shots at our local state park with the zoom fully extended (560mm equiv., I beleive) and no tripod and the shots were still good.
Lately I have been taking shots of my grandchildren fairly close up with flash and most of the shots have been great. I am still learning how to use the manual mode.
I do have a dedicated flash on my christmas list.
