It may be that you're not letting the prints dry long enough before mounting them. I'd give them 48 hours drying time before doing anything with them. I would also consider using an album that has acid-free plastic sleeves protecting each page, to prevent direct contact between prints. Otherwise, you may get some interaction between the prints over time, regardless of how dry they are.

I did leave them to dry before I made the album up - after quite a bit of discussion with other people I think it's probably not safe to use inkjet prints for this purpose.

I'm not familiar with Canon products but I do a lot with Epson. After thorough drying (at least an hour, but preferably overnight) I put my prints that I want to last either in a frame or in albums with archival quality poly photopages. In my albums I use ClearFile ArchivalPlus and have not noticed any bleeding, bleaching or discoloration.

I use Canon ink and Canon paper for photo album, and over the last 18 months, I have had no problems. If your album is the type that has just corners to hold the photo and the air in your area is polluted with ozone then you can have a problem. If the album is of the type that has archival paper to back the photo and plastic to cover you won't have a problem. I also use Ilford Galerrie Classic Pearl for my large 8 1/2 X 11 and up under glass.

I go with Franz on this; the prints should NEVER touch each other. Even traditional RA4 prints can adhere to the glass of a frame given the humidity and pressure.

ive tried every kind of paper theres only 1 illford . you print it and as soon as it comes out its dry . i take photos at our local speedway as soon as they come out we put them straight in an envlope and we use a canon 900 and 9000 with very cheap ink with no promblems
