Hello all, I am new to these forums and have a question regarding a piece of equipment.

My Mom had a Canon SLR many years ago that came with a variety of adapters/attachments/gadgets which she promptly dropped in a 'junk drawer' and never used. She generously bequeathed the contents of said drawer to me a couple months ago because she knows I love random bits of technology. I have just finished going through all the stuff and came across this piece of equipment.

She had written "Film Adapter Unit - Canon" on the ziplock bag in which it was stored, but cannot remember what it does, or where the documentation for it is (her Canon was several cameras and many years ago).

I have Googled both "Film Adapter Unit", and "Fare level 2" with no luck for this particular piece of gadgetry.

Does anybody know what it does (beyond the "Fare" functionality) or what it attaches to, a scanner perhaps (Canon only maybe)?

Any help and explanation would be greatly appreciated.
