Canon EF 20mm USM 2.8 prime lens?

I have the option of buying this lens (used) for use with my film cameras (EOS50 & EOS630).

Does anyone own this lens and is it worth having?

If you plan on using it with a 35mm EOS or a full-frame digital it is one of the best wide angle lenses, sharp and distortion-free. On a Digital Rebel or any APS size dSLR Canon its capabilities would be not nearly as advantageous.
