I currently own a Canon Digital Rebel with the 6.2Megapixel. Although, I am happy with the camera, I was considering to upgrade it and possibly give that one to my son. I have extensively looked at the Canon XTi and the 30 and read the reviews. Yes, I do understand the primary differences, but would like someone else's opinion on which one I should consider. I consider myself an ameteur and continue to learn as I go. I have taken plenty of good pictures that are looking great, since I also own an HP 8750 Wide format photo printer. I am also trying to take night pictures using the Digital Rebel. I have a Canon lens 28 - 135mm with IS and ultrasonic, plus the 18-55mm that the camera came with. Money is not the whole object, but should I choose to move up to the Rebel XTi 10.2 Megapixel or do I only go to the 8.2 megapixel that is on the Canon 30D? I would value your opinion on this.
Thanks
Anders
